Saturday, October 25th, check out the Big Spooky Hallowe’en Contra dance at the Big Yellow Merville Hall in Black Creek.
Spookin’ good times will be had in the midst of dancing ghosts & goblins as the multi-costumed Funtime Fiddlers will crank out the tunes. Contra dances are family friendly fiddle dances where a caller calmly directs dancers around the dance floor. Doors open at 7pm where there will be a short Contra Dance workshop before real dance starts at 7:30pm. It’s $10 to attend, $5 for youth with those 6 & under attending free, or you can come as a family for $22.
