Saturday, April 26th, in a collective effort to celebrate Earth Day, the City of Courtenay hosts its 3rd annual community clean-up event.

The initiative aims to inspire environmental stewardship and community engagement while fostering a sense of pride & responsibility for our local environment. Volunteers will meet at the Courtenay Air Park - adjacent to the Rotary Sky Park Playground, at 10am, rain or shine, for a safety orientation. City staff will distribute trash pickers/grabbers, bags, and gloves. Volunteers are then invited to pick up trash in the area around the park including nearby trails.
