More Information (CKCC The Raven 100.7 is not responsible for external websites)
After a two-year break, the popular community event returns! The public’s invited to join in & help remove the invasive Scotch Broom from the sensitive habitat along the river & create more space for the native vegetation to thrive. It’s an event for all ages, park at the end along Maple Street & walk into the kiosk. Bring gloves, tools & snacks, prepared for the weather & ideally wear gumboots as they are easiest to clean off after. It’s from 10am-12pm & all are welcome, let's get the broom while it's in bloom!
