Sunday, August 17th, it’s the 12th annual Garlic Fest at the Big Yellow Merville Hall.

There’ll be many different varieties of garlic offered by farmers & food vendors, who’ll will vie for the most intriguing garlic concoction. You can try garlicky food, drinks infused with garlic, garlic hair spray, garlic desserts, garlic breath fresheners & more, plus there’ll be a lot of garlic to purchase. It’s from 12-4pm, it’s free to attend & everyone’s welcome. Keeping Our Word
The word "éy7á7juuthem" means “Language of our People” and is the ancestral tongue of the Homalco, Tla’amin, Klahoose and K’ómoks First Nations, with dialectic differences in each community.
It is pronounced "eye-ya-jooth-hem."
