The Raven's "Par-Tay on the Fairway" is back!

Your favourite golf "Fun-Raiser" event, in support of YANA

This year's event takes place on Friday, August 30th from 12 PM to dusk at Saratoga Beach Golf Club.  

Tickets are just $40 for a round of golf, lunch/dinner, drinks, prizes/swag & so much more.  We anticipate that this year's event will sell out quickly, so book your spots before they're gone!  You can reserve your tee time directly on the Saratoga Beach Golf Club website directly or by calling 250 337 2208.

YANA (You Are Not Alone) is a community organization based in Comox Valley, British Columbia. They provide financial assistance and accommodation to families who need to travel outside their community for medical treatment for their children. Their support helps alleviate the stress and financial burden on families during challenging times. You can learn more about their mission and services on their website at YANA Comox Valley.

Participation Policy

Event Details:

• The charity golf tournament in support of YANA will take place on Friday, August 30th, 2024.
• Space is limited for this event.

Attendance and Registration:

• No purchase is necessary to attend the event as a spectator.
• Registration for golfers is $40 + GST.
• Golfers under the age of majority (19 years old) in British Columbia as of August 30th, 2024, must be accompanied by an adult.
• Each $40 registration fee includes one round of golf. Additional items such as food, prizes, and activities are not guaranteed and are at the discretion of The Raven & Saratoga Beach Golf Club.
• $10 from every registration will be donated to YANA.
• Registrations are non-negotiable, non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Registrations may not be resold, traded, or bartered.

Liability and Safety:

• All golf participants must sign a liability form available at registration before participating.
• Safety restrictions and other requirements may apply.
• The Raven & Saratoga Beach Golf Club are not responsible for any technical problems incurred during the event, weather conditions, or any other natural occurrences making participation difficult or impossible.

Prizes and Auctions:

• Prize winners must contact The Raven to make arrangements to collect their prizes.
• Silent auction item winners must collect their prizes and pay YANA directly. Government-issued photo ID will be required at all times.
• Silent auction items and prizes must be claimed by September 30th, 2024.

Rights and Use of Media:

• The Raven & Saratoga Beach Golf Club reserve the right to use participant and spectator names, images, and recorded media in any format for promotional purposes indefinitely.

Modifications and Discretion:

• The Raven reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, amend, suspend, or terminate any of the event details at any time and for any reason without prior notice.
• The eligibility of registrations is at the discretion of The Raven & Saratoga Beach Golf Club.

Indemnification: By participating, participants agree to hold harmless and indemnify 100.7 The Raven, Saratoga Beach Golf Course, YANA, or any other business event sponsor in connection with any third-party claims arising from:

1. The participant's involvement in the event.
2. The participant's acceptance, receipt, use, or misuse of any equipment or event-related item.
3. The participant's breach of any event rules or the rules of Saratoga Beach Golf Club.

Limitation of Liability: The Raven & Saratoga Beach Golf Course assume no liability for:

• Any injuries, personal health emergencies, or harm caused by participating in “Par-Tay at the Fairway.”
• Any late, incomplete, inaccurate, illegible, lost, stolen, damaged, or undelivered registrations, notifications, responses, replies, or other communications.
• Any error, omission, interruption, congestion, defect, or delay caused by event planning, weather, acts of God, or any technical or human errors affecting participation.
• Any incorrect or inaccurate information provided in the administration of this event for any reason.
• Any other errors or difficulties related to this event, including those affecting registration, event administration, advertising, prize announcement, or event cancellation/postponement.
• Any decisions to modify, amend, suspend, or terminate any part of this event, the general event rules, or specific details announced for this event, at any time and for any reason.

Participants and spectators agree that any claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket expenses incurred for participating in or attending this event. Such costs shall not include lawyer’s fees, punitive, incidental, consequential damages, or any other damages beyond actual out-of-pocket expenses.

Severability: If any provision of the general event rules and details is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions will not be affected and shall remain in full force and effect.
