Monday, December 8th, the Cumberland Community Schools hosts a Holiday & Gift Emporium at Cumberland Community School.

Families are invited to shop for gently used toys, books, games & household items, all available by donation. The event will also feature coffee, baked treats & holiday cards created by local artist Sally Podmore. Kids can write letters to Santa, have gifts wrapped on-site, plus the Society’s annual online silent auction is underway, with items like artwork, clothing, gift cards up for bid until December 12th at 9pm. It’s from 2:45-7pm in the Strathcona Gym, with proceeds benefiting the 'Nourish a Neighbour' fundraising campaign, which aims to raise $65 thousand by the end of January to help address food insecurity in the community.
