Saturday, June 13th, the Vancouver Island Down Syndrome Society presents an Awareness Walk & Family Picnic at Robert Ostler Park in Campbell River.

The day will include an awareness walk, picnic, and opportunities for families, friends, and community members to show support for individuals with Down syndrome while celebrating inclusion & community connection. There will also be 50/50 draws & face painting. This year’s event will also coincide with the annual Kite Flying Day at the same location, creating what organizers expect will be a lively & family-friendly atmosphere with strong community participation.
